We are seeking a skilled and proactive Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for the maintenance and repair of production and associated equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to minimise downtime and ensure production targets are met.
• Respond promptly and effectively to breakdowns, maintaining continuity of production and site services.
• Perform electrical and mechanical engineering tasks to a high standard, safely and within set timeframes.
• Support and contribute to the site’s engineering maintenance strategies.
• Liaise with production teams to prioritise tasks in line with operational needs.
• Maintain workshop standards, ensuring tools and equipment are clean, serviceable, and fit for purpose.
• Complete all job tickets, maintenance logs, and shift reports accurately.
• Assist Shift Leader in ensuring smooth running of engineering operations.
• Order and manage non-stock engineering parts as required.
• Carry out any additional duties as directed by Engineering or Senior Management.
• Knowledge of the food industry is highly desirable
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks efficiently
• Self-motivated with a proactive and flexible approach
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• A team player who can also work independently
