Are you an experienced Paint Sprayer looking for your next opportunity?
Do you have a background in automotive, aerospace or industrial paint spraying and take pride in achieving a high-quality finish? If you're confident working with wet spray paints, including solid colours, metallic finishes and clear coats, then we want to hear from you! We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent practical skills and the ability to work from technical drawings and specifications. In return, you'll receive a competitive hourly rate of up to £19 per hour, excellent overtime rates, an early finish every Friday.
As a Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for preparing metal and composite components, ensuring surfaces are clean, smooth and ready for paint application. You will apply a variety of wet spray finishes, including solid colours, metallic paints and clear coats, using hand-operated and air-powered spray guns to achieve a consistently high-quality finish. Working from technical drawings and specifications, you will accurately mix and prepare paints, hardeners and thinners while ensuring all work meets the required quality standards. Your duties will also include inspecting finished components, identifying and correcting imperfections, carrying out touch-ups and maintaining spray equipment. You will work closely with the wider production team, providing updates on job progress, meeting production deadlines and ensuring all activities are completed safely and efficiently.
• Previous experience working as a Paint Sprayer, ideally within the automotive, aerospace, engineering or manufacturing industry.
• Confident in applying wet spray finishes, including solid colours, metallic paints and clear coats.
• Experience preparing metal and composite surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Good understanding of paint mixing, preparation and application techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Experience using hand-operated and air-powered spray guns and associated equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify imperfections and maintain high-quality standards.
• Strong practical skills and manual dexterity, with a methodical approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a busy production team.
• A reliable and hardworking attitude, with the ability to meet production targets and deadlines.
