As a Paint Sprayer, you’ll play a key role in applying high-quality finishes to engineered components, working both independently and alongside colleagues, and becoming part of a company where attention to detail and individual contribution are genuinely recognised.

• Spray paint and apply protective coatings to mechanical components and valves, ensuring a high-quality, consistent finish
• Prepare surfaces prior to painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
• Mix and apply paints and coatings in line with work instructions and specifications
• Carry out paint thickness, adhesion, and visual quality checks to ensure standards are met
• Assemble and test mechanical components and sub-assemblies following drawings and instructions
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and bills of materials to achieve right-first-time assembly
• Use hand tools, spray equipment, and basic workshop machinery safely and effectively
• Maintain accurate records relating to production, quality, and materials used
• Work to production targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Identify and report any faults, defects, or process issues to supervisors promptly
• Previous experience in a paint spraying, coating, mechanical assembly, or manufacturing environment
• Confidence using spray equipment, hand tools, and basic workshop machinery
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency
• Comfortable working to production targets and deadlines
• Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
• Comfortable wearing required PPE, including air-fed masks where necessary
