These are complex, long cycle builds often running up to a year. We need someone who understands how to plan, sequence, and control work in a highly technical, engineering led setting.

• Building detailed production schedules that align with capacity, material availability, and customer milestones
• Adjusting schedules proactively around shortages, engineering changes, and real time factory constraints
• Working closely with Engineering to ensure drawings, updates, and design changes are captured before release
• Partnering with Purchasing and Production to resolve issues, remove bottlenecks, and keep projects moving
• Maintaining accurate data in the MRP system – bills of materials, routings, lead times and labour hours
• Producing clear WIP reports, backlog summaries and progress updates
• Proven planning / scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment — ideally capital equipment or build to order
• Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, and complex build structures
• Comfortable planning projects with long lead times and multiple phased stages
• Engineering background or exposure is a strong advantage
• Confident communicator across shop floor, engineering, and leadership teams
• Methodical, accurate, and able to stay calm under shifting priorities
