Women in Construction week is held annually from Tuesday 3rd March-Friday 6th March. This is a week dedicated to recognising the roles that women play in the Construction industry.

According to ONS data, alongside our own experience, the percentage has increased of women working within the construction industry. With increased opportunities, for example, apprenticeships making it more accessible for young women to join the trade.

Here’s a bit about how our Temps Consultant, Fausta and Construction, Trades & Labour Consultant, Louise helps find talented women their dream jobs within the industry!

Celebrating women working in construction

Our very own Construction division is headed up by Louise Smalley, who joined the recruitment industry in 2013. Now, Louise holds over 7 years' experience in recruiting for various jobs in the Construction, Trades & Labour sector.

We also have a temporary division which is headed up by Fausta Linkeviciute, who joined the recruitment industry in 2017. Now, Fausta holds over 2 years’ experience in recruiting for various sectors, one of which is Construction.

Proud to support women working in this industry, we currently have a range of female workers holding down temporary positions including Heating Engineers, Labourers and Forklift Drivers! And we supply personalised PPE equipment so you don’t have to worry!
