An excellent opportunity has become available for a Machine Operative to join a well-established company based in Littleport. Previous experience in manufacturing is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate. We’re looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who is comfortable working with tools and confident in a hands-on, physical role. If you’re keen to learn and ready to grow your skills within a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you!
If successful on pre-screening, you may be asked to work on a paid 2 hour trial period.

Working as part of a large temporary team you will be packaging clothing garments ready for dispatch for student graduation ceremonies. This role requires you to be standing for the entirety of the shift, and on odd occasions there may be a need to assist in moving heavy bins into the loading bay, therefore being of fit health is important for this role.
• Sourcing and packing customer orders ready for dispatch
• Loading deliveries, wheeling large bins around the loading bay
• Folding garments into plastic wrappers (up to 70 gowns per day)
• Quality control of all items on return ensuring garments are not marked
• Returning items to correct storage area
• Fit and healthy – no previous back, knee or wrist injuries
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to undertake overtime when requested
