Job Duties:

• Travelling to customer sites across the UK and international to include the USA, Europe and occasionally Asia.

• Full training is given; you will shadow an experienced engineer for the first 2-3 months to gain hands-on experience both at customer sites and on the manufacturing floor.

• Carry out maintenance, fault-finding, installations and commissioning.

• Attending machine servicing and maintenance schedules.

• Fault find, diagnose and problem solve issues.

• Updating records

• Being the face of the company and providing first class customer service.

What we are looking for:

• Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively at all levels

• Strong customer service focus with a commercial mindset

• Self-motivated and capable of managing your own workload independently

• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics

• Bonus points for electrical and PLC knowledge

• Highly organised with solid admin and computer skills

• Full, clean driving licence required for travel- must be 25 or over for insurance purposes on the company vans

We are seeking a field service engineer who has experience in the repair and/or servicing of electro-mechanical equipment. You will be able to read diagrams and schematics and demonstrate a methodical approach to your work.

We are looking for candidates who are based in the Midlands area and able to cover Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Nottingham. You will be working on your own initiative but will be part of supportive team.

• Provide on-site service and minimize downtime for customers.

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand issues and explain solutions.

• Coordinate with senior engineers and team members on complex repairs or installations.

• Manage tools, parts, and inventory to ensure supplies are ready for service calls.

• Travel to client sites as needed and work flexible hours when required.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in the repair or servicing of electro-mechanical equipment, reading diagrams and schematics

• Self-motivated and the ability to work well on your own initiative

• A full, clean UK driving license

• Able to trouble-shoot and keep calm under pressure

• Solution focused

• A good standard of PC Literacy

• Experience of Networks/Networked products
