The people and the working environment. To me, the most important thing is to work within a business where you feel valued and not just a number. I feel like we are all one big family here at Busy Bee.

I LOVE placing candidates into a new role, I can’t express in words how rewarding it feels and that feeling just doesn’t get old. To hear the happiness in their voice when you tell them they have been offered the role is truly remarkable.
How is working at Busy Bee Recruitment different from any other company you have worked for before?
To put it simply Respect & Appreciation. Two things I had never experienced through out my whole working history, that was until I started at Busy Bee. My hard work is appreciated, and I have had endless amounts of support from all my colleagues to get me to where I am today.

I am a Candidate Manager here at Busy Bee however I am working hard on becoming an Associate Recruitment Consultant which is so exciting.
What does your average day look like?
My average day consists of going through all my emails in the morning keeping that up to date, calling through any applicants that may have come in overnight and calling out to any candidates whose CV I have found on our database to have a chat about their current employment status and what they are looking for. I will also book interviews on the system and send out interview confirmations to the clients and candidates.
What’s your go – to productivity trick?
LISTS!! I love a list; I feel it just helps me make sure I get everything done in the day that I need to do, and you can tick it all off as you go along. Nothing more satisfying than a completely ticked off list at the end of the day.
What’s the best quote or advice you have heard that relates to your work?
You will love and hate recruitment, there will be good weeks and bad weeks. But you must let the positive weeks motivate you through your bad weeks. Don’t give up, keep pushing through.
