What are the parts you enjoy most about your role?
I like how varied my role is and how everyday isn’t the same. I also love telling my candidates that they were successful in securing a job offer.
How is working at Busy Bee Recruitment different from any other company you have worked for before?
Everyone on the team at Busy Bee celebrates each other’s success and we really do all care not just about our own work, but the teams work too.
What do you do at Busy Bee Recruitment and what is your career progression to date?
I joined Busy Bee Recruitment 3 years ago as a Recruitment Consultant and was then promoted to a Senior Recruitment Consultant. My next planned step is to become a Principal Consultant. After that I will again set myself another goal to work towards but at the moment, I want to be an expert at what I do and keep learning more and more each day.
What does your average day look like?
Get into the office, clear my emails, and get organised. I usually like to write a to do list for the day and then work through that. Every day is different with additional tasks to do throughout the day, but I usually struggle to leave the office until everything is done and complete ready for the next day.
What’s your go – to productivity trick?
A to do list and have a few hours during the day where I don’t speak much and just try and get stuff done.
What’s the best quote or advice you have heard that relates to your work?
If you are competitive, money motivated and are prepared to work hard to progress quickly then recruitment will be for you!
