Assisting our client to cover a holiday period we are looking for a candidate to cover 2 weeks of temporary warehousing cover in their goods in and goods out department. This role will require the use of a forklift and we do require someone reliable who can commit to the duration of the assignment for the complete two weeks. This is an active, physically engaging role that requires attention to detail, strong organisation, and a can-do attitude.

Job Duties:

• Making sure incoming components and materials are received

• Checking components are stored accurately

• Checking that outbound shipments are prepared, packaged, and dispatched correctly

• Receive and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes

• Inspect goods for damage or defects and report discrepancies

• Accurately log deliveries into the stock control system

• Label and safely store goods in the correct locations

• Assist with unloading deliveries using forklift trucks and pallet jacks

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and securely

• Prepare shipping documents and labels

• Maintain a clean and organised dispatch area

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment

• Relevant forklift licence – Counterbalance

• Good understanding of stock control and logistics processes

• Strong attention to detail – accuracy is a must

• Physically fit – comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet
