We’re on the lookout for an experienced Stores Person to join our market-leading client, based right in the heart of Bury St Edmunds. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day operations of the Stores team — ensuring materials are accurately received, located, and distributed across the site to keep production moving without a hitch. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping stock organised, supporting internal departments, and making sure everything is exactly where it needs to be, when it needs to be there. It’s a hands-on, fast-paced role where no two days are quite the same, and you’ll be working as part of a friendly, supportive team that takes real pride in what they do.

Job Duties:

• Receive incoming goods into the Stores area and accurately locate them in the appropriate storage locations

• Pick and prepare materials efficiently to support production and engineering teams

• Assemble and produce spares kits in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring lineside stock is replenished as required

• Create and engrave high-quality labels for shop orders with attention to detail and accuracy

• Conduct regular inventory counts and stock checks to maintain accurate stock records

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment within the Stores area

What we are looking for:

• Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift License

• Experience in Goods-In and Stores essential

• Reliable and punctual

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting where required.

• Self-motivated individual who is also able to contribute to team targets.
