Busy Bee Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a market-leading engineering business in their search for a Quality Inspector. This role is critical in ensuring all incoming materials, components, and assemblies meet engineering drawings and specifications before entering production. You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, protecting production efficiency, and supporting overall customer satisfaction

Working for our client within their goods in and goods out department. This role will require the use of a forklift, and we do require someone reliable who is looking to work for an established business. This is an active, physically engaging role that requires attention to detail, strong organisation, and a can-do attitude.

Job Duties:

• Inspect incoming materials, components, and assemblies against engineering drawings and specifications

• Verify supplier documentation such as certificates of conformance and inspection reports

• Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming parts

• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and escalate issues where required

• Maintain accurate and audit-ready inspection records

• Ensure traceability requirements are met

• Use measuring and inspection equipment correctly and ensure calibration compliance

• Work closely with Operations, Purchasing, and Engineering teams

• Support internal and external audits

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

• Follow company quality procedures and ISO standards

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a quality inspection role within manufacturing or engineering

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Experience using inspection and measuring equipment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience managing non-conforming parts

• Good record-keeping and organisational skills

• Understanding of ISO 9001 (desirable)

• Confident communicator with a proactive approach
