Working in a clean room environment this position is ideally suited to both Process and Production Operatives who are comfortable in reading SOP’s, working as part of a small but perfectly formed team. Involving some lifting up to 20KG you must be of fit health for this role along with the ability to follow instructions with accuracy. Working within the food manufacturing industry previous experience would be advantageous.

Job Duties:

• Picking of ingredients in accordance with SOP file ready to mix

• Mixing of ingredients to specific recipes

• Setting up of large Mixing machine

• Pouring in the dry and wet ingredients ready to mix

• Cleaning down of machines after mixing

• Preparation of relevant batch paperwork

• Ensure that established standards of GMP, food safety and food quality are met

• Data entry of all production information into internal system

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as a Process or Production Operative

• Food production experience advantageous

• Knowledge of HACCP – desired

• Willingness and desire to complete annual training courses for self-development

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed work instructions

• Confidence to use measuring equipment and recording of data

• Ability to lift heavy items to 20KG when required

• Counterbalance forklift licence advantageous
