Working 12 hour shifts – rotating pattern of one week 4 days (Monday to Thursday) followed by one week of 3 nights (Monday to Wednesday)

Who are we?

What our client offers:

• Carry out the manufacture of batches of chemicals in line with set procedures.

• Be aware of any delays or changes to production and report to the shift supervisor

• Ensure that raw materials required are available on the plant.

• Ensure all final products are correctly labelled and dispatched to the warehouse.

• Organise and carry out the packing of liquids to kegs and drums.

• Organise the transfer from road tanker to storage vessel.

• Move materials around using a forklift.

• Report any equipment breakdowns

What we are looking for:

• Literate, numerate, able to communicate clearly and follow both verbal and written instructions accurately.

• Experience within a relevant manufacturing industry.

• Ideally some experience of operational requirements of a manufacturing environment.

• H&S aware.

• Ability to operate or be trained to operate a counterbalance forklift

• Physically fit as some tasks are hard work and manual.
