Are you a highly organised administrator with excellent attention to detail and experience managing deadlines in a professional environment? Our client is seeking a Patent Administrator to join their established team. This is a pivotal role supporting Patent Attorneys and clients, ensuring patent applications, records, and deadlines are managed accurately and efficiently.

Job Duties:

• Draft and prepare correspondence, emails, letters, and patent-related documentation for review and issue

• Manage patent formalities, filing requirements, grant documentation, and validation processes

• Monitor, update, and maintain patent records and deadlines using

• Process incoming correspondence and update records, ensuring all critical dates are diarised and actioned

• Prepare patent applications, reports, invoices, debit notes, and client communications

• Liaise with clients, foreign associates, Patent Attorneys, and internal departments regarding patent matters

• Arrange meetings, travel, and provide administrative support to fee earners as required

• Support other Patent Administrators and assist with general office administration duties

What we are looking for:

• Previous Intellectual Property (IP) administration experience (3+ years preferred)

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications

• Experience using Inprotech and/or a legal or patent management system would be advantageous

• CIPA qualification and legal secretarial experience would be highly desirable
