We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Packhouse Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of the packhouse and dispatch team, ensuring orders are completed accurately, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role would suit someone with previous experience as a Team Leader, Line Leader, Production Supervisor, or QC Lead within food production, fresh produce, warehousing, or manufacturing environments.

Duties will include:

• Supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the packhouse and dispatch team to ensure orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time

• Leading, motivating, and supporting Line Leaders, QC staff, and production operatives, including training, task delegation, and performance support

• Monitoring productivity, labour usage, quality standards, and operational efficiency while responding quickly to issues to minimise downtime

• Carrying out and overseeing quality, hygiene, food safety, traceability, and health & safety procedures across the operation

• Supporting accurate reporting, labour costing, and maintaining clean, organised working environments while assisting operationally when required

Key skills and attributes required:

‍

• Previous experience within a Team Leader, Line Leader, Supervisor, or QC role within food production, fresh produce, manufacturing, or warehouse environments

• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills with the ability to motivate teams and maintain productivity

• Practical, hands-on approach with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work effectively under pressure within fast-paced operational environments
