We are looking for a proactive and quality-focused QC Operative to ensure products meet customer, company, and food safety standards throughout the production process. This role would suit someone with previous experience within Quality Control, Food Production, Inspection, or Compliance roles within manufacturing or packhouse environments.

Duties will include:

‍

• Carrying out inspections and quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure customer and company standards are met

• Monitoring production processes, recording quality data, maintaining traceability records, and completing QC documentation accurately

• Supporting food safety, hygiene, allergen control, GMP, and compliance procedures across the site

• Identifying non-conformances, reporting quality concerns, supporting corrective actions, and working closely with production teams to resolve issues

• Assisting with audits, compliance checks, equipment calibration, and maintaining safe, clean, and organised working areas

Key skills and attributes required:

‍

• Previous experience within a QC, food production, quality inspection, or manufacturing

• role

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects, inconsistencies, and quality concerns

• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, GMP, allergen control, and traceability procedures

• Confident completing paperwork, production records, and digital quality documentation accurately

• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work closely with production and management teams

• Practical and proactive approach with good organisational and problem-solving skills

• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work effectively within fast-paced production environments
