We are looking for a hands-on Packhouse Line Leader to ensure production lines operate safely, efficiently, and in line with quality and food safety standards. This role would suit someone with previous experience as a Line Leader, Senior Operative, Production Lead, or Team Leader within a fast-paced production or packing environment.

Duties will include:

‍

• Operating and overseeing the assigned production line to ensure daily production targets, efficiency, and output levels are achieved

• Leading and supervising line operatives, allocating tasks, supporting training, and promoting strong teamwork and communication across shifts

• Carrying out quality, packaging, labelling, and product checks to ensure customer and company standards are maintained

• Monitoring machine performance, identifying faults, resolving minor equipment issues, and coordinating with maintenance and QC teams when required

• Completing production records, reporting performance issues, and ensuring accurate production data is maintained

• Supporting stock rotation, product changeovers, line cleaning, and maintaining safe and organised working areas

Key skills and attributes required:

‍

• Previous experience within a Line Leader, Production Operative, Team Leader, or food production role

• Experience working within fresh produce, food manufacturing, packing, or production environments

• Basic machine operation and troubleshooting experience

• Practical, hands-on approach with strong organisational and problem-solving skills

• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work effectively within fast-paced production environments
