We are currently recruiting for a Welder to join one of our valued clients based in Haverhill, Suffolk. This role would suit a skilled individual with a strong background in Welding/Fabricating who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and is confident working with alone and as a team in a manufacturing or workshop environment.

Job Duties:

‍

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and job specifications to determine welding requirements

• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment safely and efficiently

• Select appropriate welding parameters including voltage, wire feed speed, and shielding gas settings

• Prepare metal components by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and aligning prior to welding

• Carry out high-quality MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, or aluminium as required

• Produce welds that meet required standards for strength, appearance, and dimensional accuracy

• Operating a variety of machinery including Brake Press, Guillotine, Hunch Break

What we are looking for:

‍

• Proven experience as a Welder (minimum of 2 years).

• Strong attention to detail.

• Able to work individually and in a team environment

• Good understanding of Health and Safety
