Job Duties:

‍

• Develop new mechanical concepts and turn them into detailed CAD designs

• Produce and amend engineering drawings to support the manufacture of specialist machinery

• Support the build and assembly process, resolving any design issues

• Prepare project information, reports and design documentation throughout the development process

• Set up components and assemblies within the MRP system, including creating and maintaining BOMs

• Review designs and drawings before they progress for approval

What we are looking for:

‍

• Previous experience working in a Mechanical Design position is essential

• A relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification

• Strong experience using 3D CAD packages, ideally SolidWorks

• Good mathematical and technical ability

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Well organised with the ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines

• Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a small team
