Working in a busy precision engineering environment for a well-established company based in Ely, you will play an important role within the production team. The position involves working with precision metal and plastic components, carrying out processes such as laser etching, vapour honing, sanding, inspection and light assembly. You will be responsible for ensuring all components are completed to customer specifications while maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating manufacturing equipment including laser etching and vapour honing machines

• Carrying out sanding and finishing of machined components

• Cleaning parts using ultrasonic tanks to maintain product quality

• Inspecting components using handheld measuring equipment

• Completing light assembly of precision parts

• Packing finished parts ready for the next stage of production

• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a Production or Manufacturing background

• Understanding of machine operating is beneficial

• Strong attention to detail is essential
