This role offers hands-on work with manual milling machines in a well-equipped workshop, as part of a close-knit team of five. Job Duties:

• Carrying out machining using semi-automatic and manual milling machines

• Using various centre lathes

• Using various drills and saws

• Produce components to customer requirements.

• Undertaking set ups on all manual machines

• Finishing and deburring to the finished component

• Working to tight tolerances

• Carry out general machine shop duties to include maintenance of machines

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as required.

What we are looking for:

• Time served or apprentice trained machinist

• Familiar with using manual and semi-automatic Mills

• General machine shop experience

• Able to work to tight tolerances

• A good attention to detail

• Experience with fine finishing and deburring.
