Key Responsibilities

‍

• ‍Preparing monthly management reports and supporting operational profit and loss reporting
• Completing account reconciliations and investigating financial discrepancies
• Assisting with month-end activities, including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Developing budgets and financial forecasts to support business planning
• Monitoring financial performance by analysing costs, margins and business trends
• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes
• Partnering with operational teams
• Carrying out additional financial analysis and reporting as required

Ideal Candidate

‍

• Previous experience within a finance or accounts role, or a recent finance graduate with a strong willingness to learn
• Good understanding of accruals and month-end accounting processes
• Studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA, or qualified through relevant experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent organisational skills
