We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join one of our valued clients based in Peterborough. You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on a range of equipment at customer locations. This is a varied role suited to someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys working independently and providing a high level of customer service

Job Duties:

‍

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults

• Respond quickly and professionally to customer requirements

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers

• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

• Use technical and diagnostic equipment to identify faults

• Complete relevant service records and documentation

What we are looking for:

‍

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in an engineering or mechanical discipline

• Previous experience in a field-based engineering, maintenance or servicing role

• Experience working with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems

• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Experience maintaining and repairing mobile equipment or similar machinery

• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications

• Full driving license and good driving record
