We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Engineer for the maintenance and repair of production and associated equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.

Job Duties:

• Carry out planned preventative electrical maintenance on production and associated equipment.

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and effectively to minimise downtime.

• Perform electrical installations, modifications, and upgrades in line with regulations.

• Conduct testing, calibration, and inspection of electrical systems to ensure compliance and reliability.

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, control panels, sensors, and automated systems.

• Support electrical safety compliance across the site, ensuring adherence to all relevant standards.

• Liaise with production teams to schedule and prioritise electrical maintenance work.

• Keep detailed records of all electrical maintenance activities, including job sheets and fault logs.

• Ensure workshop electrical tools and testing equipment are in safe and serviceable condition.

• Order and manage electrical spare parts and components as required.

• Knowledge of the food industry is highly desirable

• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks efficiently

• Self-motivated with a proactive and flexible approach

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• A team player who can also work independently
