We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a friendly and supportive team on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.

This is a varied role where you’ll support customers with enquiries, quotations and orders, while working closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

‍

• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email, providing accurate and professional support.
• Process customer orders and quotations, ensuring information is entered accurately onto internal systems.
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer queries and provide updates on delivery times and methods.
• Provide customers with shipping and export documentation, including proof of delivery and tracking information.
• Manage multiple inboxes and prioritise enquiries effectively.
• Use customer and order data to support enquiries relating to open orders and delivery dates.
• Assist with following up open quotations to help progress opportunities through to order.
• Maintain accurate customer and product information on internal systems.
• Assist with basic administration relating to customer returns.
• Work as part of the wider Customer Service team to maintain a consistently high standard of customer service.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and make the team more efficient.
• Support additional projects and duties as required.

Ideal Candidate

‍

• Previous experience in a Customer Service, Administration or similar customer-facing role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A professional and confident telephone manner.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive and positive approach to solving customer queries.
• The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
