Who are we?

Job Duties:

• Program, set up, and operate Sliding Head CNC lathes to produce high-precision components

• Write and optimise CNC programs using CAD/CAM or at the machine console

• Interpret drawings to develop correct machining strategies

• Inspect and measure parts using appropriate tools to ensure quality standards

• Load machines in line with production schedules and Kanban demand

• Respond to ad-hoc R&D requests as required

• Support the machine shop by operating additional CNC machinery when needed

• Carry out first-off inspections and assist with R&D prototypes

• Unload and perform hand finishing of components when required

• Share best practices and provide training in Sliding Head lathe operation

• Carry out daily 5S tasks and weekly TPM maintenance

• Follow all safe working practices and environmental policies

• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives

What we are looking for:

• Proficient in setting up, programming, and operating Sliding Head CNC lathes

• Experience using CAD/CAM software or direct console programming

• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T

• Familiar with Fanuc controls

• Experience working to micron-level precision

• Skilled in problem-solving and troubleshooting production issues

• Experience optimising and editing existing CNC programs
