We’re on the lookout for a skilled CNC machinist. I am recruiting for a position working across both CNC milling and CNC turning, where you’ll take ownership of components from programming through to production. You’ll play a key role in maintaining quality, improving processes, and supporting the wider team.

Duties to Include:

‍

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines (Mazak, Matsuura)

• Creating, editing and optimising CNC programs for efficiency and quality

• Taking ownership of first-off and complex components through to full production

• Selecting tooling, fixtures, feeds and speeds to suit materials and tolerances

• Interpreting engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances

• Troubleshooting machining and programming issues, implementing solutions quickly

• Supporting and mentoring junior machinists and operators

• Contributing to continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives

• Maintaining machines, tooling and a safe, organised working environment

Skills/Experience Required:

‍

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist (milling and/or turning)

• Experience with programming and setting (Mazak/Matsuura advantageous)

• Strong understanding of machining principles and tooling

• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings

• Confident problem-solver who can work independently

• Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
