We are working with a precision Engineering company that are looking for an Assembly Technician to join their team. You will have experience in both Electrical and Mechanical Assembly and will be able to confidently read and work from Engineering drawings. Please note this a temporary to permanent position. 

Duties will include:

• Read and work from Engineering drawings
• Building / assembling products from a kit of manufactured parts
• Testing products prior to despatch
• Working on PCB boards
• Soldering and wiring
• Adhere to all health and safety 

Skills and Experience Required: 

• Mechanical assembly / build experience
• Able to use hand tools, mechanical equipment
• Previous experience within Electrical and Mechanical Assembly
• Able to work as part of a small team
• Previous experience within a Manufacturing / Engineering environment
• Confident at reading and working from Engineering drawings
