Sales and Marketing Executive – Medical Devices

We are looking for candidates who have proven experience of working with the medical devices industry to join an established company currently undergoing expansion.  A newly created position that will support sales and marketing activities across the business, driving sales and identifying new market opportunities. This role will specifically support the business in the growth of the sales department while being responsible for creation of business and sales strategies to analyse the current market and prospects.

A brand new position that requires someone who is willing to really make it their own. You MUST have experience of working within the medical device industry and been involved in making business plans, applicants without relevant industry experience will not be considered. Alongside this you will ideally hold knowledge or existing relationships with both UK and Global distributors of medical devices.

Duties will include:

  • Identify and analyse potential new prospects including new territories and markets
  • Building on potential growth opportunities with existing clients
  • Developing sales and business plans to drive the revenue and delivering these plans to senior management team
  • Strategically put campaigns together ready to send out to prospects
  • Proactively reaching out to prospects and providing knowledge of company services
  • Carrying out presentations to prospective clients and provide technical, detailed knowledge and advice of the devices
  • Being a key support of organising and running promotional product meetings with demonstrations to medical staff and clients
  • Writing and pitching proposals for new prospects
  • Working closely with Senior management to negotiate and close long term contractual agreements
  • Developing strong relationships with key distributors and strategic partners
  • Maintaining high level of communication with all clients and partners, providing an exceptional service
  • Presenting the company at tradeshows and conferences
  • Supporting in the evaluation of new medical device opportunities and undertake early market research activities
  • Continuously working to a sales pipeline and building upon this

Skills and Experience Required:

  • MUST have Sales experience within the medical device industry
  • Knowledge of account distribution, and strategic partnership management
  • Experience of working to Senior sales and business level
  • Understanding and experience of putting business and sales plans together
  • Ability to build a sales pipeline and exceed targets
  • Must be able to build strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Enthusiastic and willing work ethic
  • Positive attitude
  • UK driving licence
