Digital e-Learning Designer

This is an exciting role whereby you will join a department that specializes in the development of e-learning tools. You will be responsible for the development and design of e-learning material. You will create innovative content whilst promoting the use of e-learning across the organisation. 

Duties:

  • Maintenance, and development of creative and innovative e-learning resources
  • Use of e-Learning authoring tools including: Adapt, Captivate, Camtasia Articulate Storyline
  • Significant use of Moodle and Totara LMS system
  • Creation of visual assets for online and blended learning modules
  • Ensuring that training courses and materials for applications are kept up to date
  • Participate in relevant user groups, forums and committees
  • Upload courses onto the LMS (Learning Management Systems) and amend if required
  • Maintain the LMS to ensure ease of use and encourage user engagement
  • Create pages on the LMS to house content
  • Ensure every course has an auditable record trail of course participation and completion
  • Administer and produce reports for stakeholders on course participation and completion
  • Maintain an understanding of any supplier upgrades and system improvements
  • Explore innovative solutions to delivering training to either support or replace face-to-face training
  • Participate in e-Learning related projects
  • Ensuring that any new or replacement application software meets business requirements

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Educated to a minimum of Degree standard in a relevant subject (Marketing, English, Design)
  • Use of e-Learning authoring tools including: Adapt, Captivate, Camtasia Articulate Storyline
  • Experience of project work
  • Experience in administrating Moodle and Totara LMS system
  • Experience with Adobe’s Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, After effects, Audition and Media Encoder)
  • Basic HTML / CSS Coding skills
