Travel Branch Manager

Location: Swaffham

Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday – Saturday 9am – 5pm (1 day off in the week and 1 Saturday a month off) OR minimum of 4 days also considered

We are looking for a Travel Branch Manager to join the team based in Swaffham where your role will be to oversee the team and day to day business activities. You will come with travel experience and experience of being in a senior role. You will be reporting to the Retail director and be apart of implementing ideas and strategies to ensure achieve targets are met.

• Mentoring and supporting the team with sales and bookings
• Running the store on a daily basis, dealing with any matters
• Actively attracting local business with promotions, offers and ways to increase sales
• Working with the head office marketing team to help promote the business
• Greeting customers in store and supporting with their needs
• Booking travel on behalf of the customers
• Liaising with suppliers on a daily basis
• Ensuring retail store is fully stocked with stationary, brochures and other equipment needed
• Conducting individual and team meetings
• Carrying out performance reviews with the team and giving training support where required
• Leading an exceptional example of customer service
• Working with the team to achieve team targets

Skills and Experience:
• MUST have previous travel agency experience and travel experiences
• MUST have experience of being in a senior role
• Ability to motivate a team
• Promote a positive and enthusiastic working attitude
• Strong geographical skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to achieve targets
• Commercially and business awareness
