Seeking a Sales Support Administrator – Baldock 

We are seeking candidates who have experience of providing support to a sales team, you will have ideally supported a manufacturing organisation previously. Ideally you will have experience of using Sage 200 or a similar ERP system. If you have excellent communication skills and can build rapport with customers easily then we would love to hear from you! 

Start: ASAP
Location: Baldock, Hertfordshire
Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday
Salary: up to £22,000
Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holiday, Pension + more! 

To be suitable for this position you will have excellent listening and communication skills, you will be confident in handling a varied workload and a strong administrative background! You will be an excellent organiser and someone who can work well under pressure to deadlines.

Duties: 

  • Answering a busy telephone and dealing with customer enquires
  • Keeping the customer records up to date via the CRM database
  • Updating leads onto the internal CRM database
  • Taking minutes at sales meetings
  • Preparing draft marketing materials for customers and sending
  • Processing of customer orders and quotations via SAGE200
  • Liaising between dispatch and production on delivery lead times
  • Working with the sales team to onboard new customers
  • Preparing customer sample requests and dispatching
  • Keeping relevant sample stock
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and complaints
  • Maintain Sage 200 system with stock codes
  • Greet visitors and ensure they have signed in and direct to relevant person

Skills and Experience Required: 

  • A recognised office Administration qualification (desirable)
  • Minimum of 12 months office experience within a similar role
  • Use of Sage 200 or other ERP system experience
  • Marketing experience would be advantageous
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • Use of MS Excel
