Seeking an Administrator – Outskirts of Cambourne, Cambridgeshire

We are working on behalf of a Cambridgeshire based company who are looking to expand their office staff due to growth of the business. This position is to support the business with looking after the administration surrounding customer orders as well as providing customer service and being first point of call.

Location: Cambourne (Outskirts), Cambridgeshire
Hourly Rate: £8.50 an hour + holiday pay (Rising to £20,000 per annum after 12 weeks)
Hours of work: Monday – Friday start time will vary from 7am – 11am working 8-hour shifts (You will also be required to work one Saturday a month)
Duration: Temporary – Permanent

For this role you will need to have great communication skills, excellent written and verbal English and previous administration experience. You will be customer focused and enjoy offering a good experience to our client’s customers. Good keyboard skills in necessary for this role as the main part of this job is order processing on their computer system.


  • Answering a busy telephone
  • Dealing with customer enquiries regarding products
  • Processing customer orders
  • Data Entry
  • Scanning
  • Creation of invoices
  • Creation of job packing sheets for the warehouse

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Must have own transport due to location
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Must be computer literate
  • Holding a “can do” attitude
  • Willing to work and progress in the growing Company and learn different department jobs and different skills if required
  • Positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
