A day in the life of a Busy Bee Temp Consultant
Written by KayleighThe temporary desk is very fast paced. Firstly, some recruiting needs are unforeseen therefore an urgent requirement for candidates is common. For example, in instances of staff sickness.
Alternatively, temporary and interim recruitment needs can be foreseen. For example seasonal peaks, or maternity cover. Either way, you’re always kept on your toes!
As soon as I have been contacted by a client with a new job vacancy, we ensure a great job description is swiftly put together and soon get it advertised across all social media networks and job boards!
At Busy Bee, we regularly meet new candidates looking for temporary work in order for them to be fully registered for work. Therefore, I have a database of fully registered and active local candidates ready for urgent work.
I contact the most suitable candidates for the job straight away to talk through the role’s requirements, contract length, and hours of work. Candidates who are available will be shortlisted and their profiles sent to the client.
Once selected and the temp is settled into their new assignment, I regularly will check-in throughout to ensure all is well with both the client and candidate.
No two days are the same, when running a temporary recruitment desk. However, I love helping my client’s to turn things around when they need it most. Alongside this, providing my great temps with opportunities within some excellent companies within Ely, Cambridge and surrounding areas.
If I can assist your business with any temporary recruitment needs, or alternatively if you are looking to become a Busy Bee temp, please get in touch with me, Fausta, via 01353 880 253 / 01223 628740 or email.
