Senior Recruitment Consultant - Temporary Division

This is a new vacancy within the company to work alongside our existing Consultant, due to demand and increase in workload we can hire a second consultant to develop the division further.  You will be responsible for bringing new business to the company alongside working towards financial targets.  You will attend relevant courses and training to be the industry expert in your field. You will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by providing support across many functions. It will be expected that you will over time attend networking events and support the business in front of clients as and when requested.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure job opportunities with both new and existing clients
  • Place suitable candidates to meet client requirements
  • Develop and manage client and candidate relationships
  • Identify, progress and convert sales leads as required
  • Manage and proactively develop client relationships
  • Establish and agree terms and conditions of service
  • Identify and attract candidates using all appropriate methods to satisfy job requirements
  • Monitor responses/applications received
  • Make sure that candidate’s applications are processed efficiently
  • Shortlist and present suitably qualified applicants against job vacancies
  • Manage the recruitment and selection processes
  • Ensure all necessary administration, payment and aftercare services are concluded in line with company policies
  • Comply with company management systems, payroll and billing policies and procedures including accurate database management
  • Develop expertise of market rates and conditions within your sector in order to consult with candidates and clients
  • Seek and provide feedback in a professional manner at all times to candidates and clients
  • Conducting regular service reviews with both clients and candidates
  • Accurate recording of candidate and client information on the recruitment database
  • Comply with all relevant employment legislation and appropriate codes of practice
  • Comply with all relevant sector specific legislation
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation, employee rights and responsibilities

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience providing temporary staffing solutions is essential for this role
