We are currently working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company who are currently going through company growth and are looking to take on an experience Warehouse Operative.

You will be responsible for ensuring that products and instrumentation are ready for shipment and arrange daily shipments using various different couriers. Picking and packing experience in a busy warehouse is desirable. This is a hands-on role with further opportunities to progress in the future.

Duties:

• Printing of delivery notes
• Picking of items for shipping
• Daily cycle counts
• Complete courier bookings
• Maintain a tidy and clean distribution area
• Determine the correct shipping location
• Maintain on time deliveries
• Ensure safe handling of products
• Packing finished goods
• Ensuring that goods are labelled accurately
• Manual handling of boxes, crates, and bags

Skills and Experience Required:

• Computer literate with knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook – Essential
• Previous experience within a stores / logistics function
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise
• Ability to carry out instructions
• Good numeracy skills
