Test and Calibration Technician

Our client is a sensor and instrumentation manufacturer are looking for someone to join their production team. To be suitable for this role you will have exceptional attention to detail skills along with Electronics / Engineering experience with a through understanding of test and calibration procedures.
Duties:
- Manufacture, test, calibrate and pack products to documented build standard.
- Liaise with Development team to provide prototype build and test support on assigned products.
- Manage multiple batches of time-critical production processes.
- Creating multipart tests
- Trialling development processes
- Reviewing results and providing feedback
- Create and process works orders required by MRP
- Data coordination using complex spreadsheets, goods-in chemical checks for selected products.
- Fault-find, fix, recalibrate customer repairs.
- Provide maintenance for jigs, test equipment, assembly aids.
- Debug electronic, light mechanical assemblies, instruments and systems.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Thorough understanding of test and calibration procedures
- Able to fault-find to component level
- High level of precision and accuracy
- Electronics / Engineering knowledge to ONC standard or equivalent.
- General manufacturing expertise and knowledge of best practice.
- Ability to use of optical equipment preferred
