In this position, not only would you be working the good’s in & out processes but you would be working with 1000’s of engineering parts, some will be bespoke so a good eye for detail is key as you will be cataloguing bespoke part numbers and logging changes as the parts arrive into the stores area.

You’ll probably want to know what’s involved?

What you will be doing:

• Working Goods In – receiving deliveries, booking in arriving parts and ensuring goods received are checked for quality
• Working part of a small team, picking of components an parts per works order
• Managing stock levels, flagging stock discrepancies and shortages with our Stock Controller as and when they occur
• Catalogue bespoke part numbers & log onto the database. Using software (EFACs) to log changes with parts as they come into stores
• Some manual handling, use of a pallet stacker and forklift. Training will be provided

What’s In it for you?

£13ph, overtime paid @ 1.5 for the 1^st 9 hours then double time, early finish on Friday’s, great working conditions, 28 days annual leave which increases after 5 years service to 33 days, Christmas closure, Pension scheme, onsite parking

When you will be doing it:

39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm & Fridays 8am – 4pm

What you’ll need:

• You have experience working in engineering or manufacturing stores
• Great computer skills with a good understanding of stock booking systems
• You have great numerical skills
• You are very organized with high attention to detail
• If you have experience operating a forklift or have a forklift licence, this would be beneficial however full training will be provided
