This is a great opportunity for a skilled Bench Joiner to join our clients, a busy joinery workshop on the outskirts of Ely. It is important for this role that you have experience of commercial joinery with the ability to use workshop machinery.

This position will be to produce door sets and glazed framing unit. You will produce the products but also undertake quality control and finishing. This will be working solely on bespoke products so a high level of confidence on machinery is required.

Duties:

• Building bespoke door sets
• Producing joinery products from drawings to final product
• Operating various joinery machine/tools
• Use of CNC Machine
• Cut and fit both toughened and tempered glass into internal doors including fire doors
• Quality control of the finished product
• Taking delivery of goods and supplies

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Experience with Pre-hung door set’s is desirable
• Fully qualified having started at apprentice level
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Willing to travel occasionally
• Full UK driving license
