Hours: 24 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday AND Thursday and Friday) working hours can be negotiated with core hours being 7:30am – 6:30pm as you ensure that you work 8 hours per day
Reward: £20,000 - £25,000 pro rata depending on experience

Part-Time Marketing and Sales Administrator

Working on behalf of a reputable company based in Ely, we are seeking a highly organised and professional Marketing and Sales Administrator. You will be working closely with the Sales Manager and the Sales Team providing various administration support as well as managing company local marketing functions. This is a very hands-on position therefore the right candidate will need to be pro-active in their work approach and have excellent organisational skills. 


  • Support and coordinate marketing activities
  • Develop marketing plans and campaigns to support Sales and Aftersales strategy
  • Working with Sales Managers to provide evaluation and analysis of all sales partners
  • Management, quality control and distribution of marketing
  • Managing product materials and information, including sales tools
  • Maximise on-line media presence
  • Promote the company brand and increase visibility
  • Carry out market research on competitors as well as tracking and logging this
  • Event management, conferences, exhibitions, and days out
  • Assist in the development of presentations, launch of new products where applicable
  • Editorial management and coordination of press releases and articles
  • Manage email campaigns with existing databases and develop new targeted databases
  • Marketing budget control and negotiating best prices
  • Distribute, record, and evaluate customer feedback to identify necessary improvements 
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, engineering, partners, and customers
  • General sales support, data entry, order processing
  • Diary management and making relevant arrangements
  • Working with the sales team providing support as required
  • Any other ad hoc sales and marketing administration duties as required

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience of supporting with social media and websites
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Experience with professional platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, etc) desirable
  • Experience in scheduling, using a scheduler where required
  • IT skills with the us of MS office packages
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional and polite telephone manner
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Positive, can-do attitude with aptitude and desire to learn
