Office Assistant

This is a key role within a small and friendly local business, you will play an assistant to both the Managing Director and the Finance Director and cover a wide range in tasks. If you are looking for a varied role then this could be perfect for you! To be suitable for this position you will have some experience of working within an office and hold basic administration skills, there will be training provided on the position however a confidence in general office-based tasks is required.


  • Welcoming guests to the office
  • Answering telephone, taking messages, and relaying to relevant person
  • Filling, photocopying
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Producing customer quotations – training will be provided
  • Helping renew company policies with the support of the MD
  • Ordering materials and purchasing of stationary
  • Helping maintain internal records such as training records on behalf of the MD
  • Updating internal CRM records with customer details
  • Posting of invoices

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous office experience with strong IT skills
  • Use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Comfortable handling confidential information
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to drive due to the location of the role
