Working for an exciting Engineering company in Mildenhall, we are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator to join their team for an 18 month fixed term contract. Please note this is an Office based role so you must be able to drive due to the location. You will be working alongside a small team and will be responsible for the contribution to the smooth running of the office.  

Duties will include:

  • Answering customer enquiries both via email and telephone
  • Build strong relationships with both existing and prospect customers
  • Raising customers invoices
  • Processing sales and purchase orders
  • Daily order taking and chasing for payments
  • Ensure that the website & marketing is updated regularly
  • Arrange staff travel and accommodation for exhibitions and events
  • Liaise with Couriers and Logistics companies to ensure deliveries are arriving on time
  • Prepare meeting rooms for visitors
  • Organise staff events such as Christmas Parties, Summer events etc
  • Research potential markets for new business
  • General administration duties in the office

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Positive attitude and able to deal with problems efficiently
  • Confident at using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and outlook
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Ability to build rapport with people on all levels
  • Able to work and play a key role within a small team
  • Motivated and have a positive attitude
  • Willing to help others when all duties have been completed
