National Manufacturing Day
National Manufacturing Day is held annually on the first Friday in October with events that continue throughout the month. The aim of the celebration is to inspire young people to pursue careers in the manufacturing industry whilst educating the public on the importance of the role manufacturers play in our daily lives. This year National Manufacturing Day is particularly important with manufacturing being at the heart of some of the most impactful work being done in response to the pandemic.
National Teaching Assistants Day
On 16th September schools across England and Wales are encouraged to celebrate their Teaching Assistants. National Teaching Assistants' Day was created to recognise the valuable contribution Teaching Assistants make to the education and support of school children across the UK.
