Seeking a Software and Training Sales Executive 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join a small team of expert Consultants who work with organisations throughout the UK, Europe, India and Australia. The successful candidate will be comfortable with online technology and be a fast learner of IT terminology and procedures; you will be a confident and friendly individual who will be happy to generate new sales leads, arrange online presentations and secure sales.

Start: ASAP
Location: Accessible from Ely & Newmarket
Salary: £23,000
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
Benefits: 28 days holiday per annum plus public holidays, auto enrolment pension

The successful candidate will have the highest standards of integrity and honesty and be able to demonstrate superb levels of accuracy in written and spoken communication. This is an exciting time for the successful candidate to be joining the team as our client is about to launch four new video titles and is making updates and improvements to their online learning services.

Duties: 

  • Generating and nurturing leads for WATCH & GO
  • Presenting demonstrations online to potential clients
  • Meeting with clients when appropriate
  • Setting up new accounts and new users on a bespoke system
  • Following up all demonstrations
  • Optimising demo-to-sale conversion rates
  • Liaising with IT and administration colleagues to ensure excellent customer service
  • Monitoring clients’ usage of the service and reviewing regularly with clients
  • Building excellent relationships with clients
  • Managing the renewal process effectively
  • Upselling subscriptions to other video titles
  • Working on lapsed subscriptions to encourage them to re-subscribe
  • Attending and contributing to promotional events

Skills and Experience: 

  • Persuasive and proficient presentation skills, both face-to-face and via virtual meetings
  • Well organised and be able to manage time and tasks efficiently
  • Energetic and persistent, with a strong will to succeed
  • An engaging, friendly manner
  • Clear understanding of the importance of the customer and the customer’s business drivers
  • Considerate team member as part of a small tight-knit group
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail required
  • Professional and polite telephone manner
