Seeking a SaaS Sales Executive – Cambridge 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a sales team within a global software company based in Cambridge who support companies worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive who has a successful track record and an industry background within software. 

Start: ASAP
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £20,000 – £22,000 + Uncapped Commission
Hours: 35 hours per week
Benefits:Generous holiday allowance, Pension scheme with up to 6% company match and BUPA dental and medical cover 

To be suitable for this role you will have experience with managing a portfolio of new and existing accounts and a drive to grow the business. You will have come from an IT or Software background and wish to continue your enthusiasm within the industry. Previous experience within managing global accounts would be advantageous. 

Duties: 

  • Identifying and qualifying sales leads
  • Researching prospective customers and making outbound calls and emails
  • Understanding customers needs and selling the appropriate services
  • Managing new and existing customer accounts
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Negotiating prices with customers, keeping to company pricing guidelines
  • Closing of deals
  • Updating the CRM system with customer information and logging all sale progression and communication
  • Working towards a sales pipeline
  • Reporting to the Head of Sales about any customer issues, negotiations and sales 

Skills & Experience: 

  • MUST have B2B sales experience within IT services or Software industry
  • MUST have a proven track record within Sales
  • Ability to understand customer requirements in order to provide the sales process
  • A Professional and polite approach
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Outstanding listening skills
  • Excellent time management skills with attention to detail
  • A passion for the Software and IT industry
  • MUST be flexible to encompass global sales cycle
