Seeking a Graduate Software Sales Executive – Cambridge 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a motivated and driven sales team within a global software company based in Cambridge. Our client supports companies worldwide and this position is suited to recent graduates who are looking for their first step into a full-time permanent role within sales! 

Start: ASAP
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £20,000 – £22,000 + Uncapped Commission
Hours: 35 hours per week (shift patterns between 10am – 9pm Monday – Friday)

Duties will include: 

  • Identifying and qualifying sales leads
  • Researching prospective customers and making outbound calls and emails
  • Understanding customers needs and selling the appropriate services
  • Managing new and existing customer accounts
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Negotiating prices with customers, keeping to company pricing guidelines
  • Closing of deals
  • Updating the CRM system with customer information and logging all sale progression and communication
  • Working towards a sales pipeline
  • Reporting to the Head of Sales about any customer issues, negotiations and sales

  • Ability to understand customer requirements in order to provide the sales process
  • A Professional and polite approach
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Outstanding listening skills
  • Excellent time management skills with attention to detail
  • A passion for the Software and IT industry
  • MUST be flexible to encompass global sales cycle
