E-Commerce Manager


Seeking an E-Commerce Manager – Ely 

We are seeking an E-commerce Manager to join a team of 3 within the Marketing Department but also to work closely alongside the Sales department. You will be working closely with the sales team to help provide support in maximising revenue and sales which is driven by monitoring all e-commerce platforms.  

Start: ASAP
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Full time, flexible working hours
Salary: £30,000 – 25% bonus

We are looking for candidates who hold a CIM qualification and have a background of working in a B2B company. You will also have gained experience of using various e-commerce tools to have supported your work. 

Duties of this role will include: 

  • Creating and implementing the bespoke e-commerce marketing strategy on a quarterly and annually basis
  • Monitoring and making improvements to all areas of e-commerce opportunities
  • Tracking and reporting any key achievements and any issues that may have occurred
  • Monitoring the SEO performance and make improvements where necessary, ensuring all is compliant with GDPR
  • Actively monitoring the customer’s web pages and sales performance, ensuring that customers engagement is encouraged
  • Working with the Key Accounts to ensure customers are able to upload all new products, correct pricing, colours and sizes onto all relevant platforms
  • Highlighting any issues with customer websites to the Marketing Manager
  • Running pay per clicks advertising campaigns
  • Using Google Analytics to report on the digital business
  • Keeping up to date with competitor’s activity and making suggestions to the brand events and activities
  • Liaising with the Creative Designer to help create and manage website marketing and content
  • Regularly updating the internal customer portal to ensure best possible user experience 

Skills and Experience Required: 

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar position
  • Experience of working within a B2B company
  • Must have a Diploma (CIM)
  • Target and sales focused
  • Experience working within a digital environment
  • Strong analytical skills and project management skills
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Professional approach to time, budgets and deadlines
