Seeking a Content Marketing Executive – Cambridge                                     

On behalf of our client based in Cambridge we are seeking a Content Marketing Executive to work within a busy and expanding global company, a role that will support the Marketing Manager with producing high quality campaigns and content. The ideal and successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail skills alongside a good understanding of content marketing, website maintenance and analytical marketing. You will be degree educated to be suitable for this position and ideally will hold a CIM certificate.

Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 per annum
Hours: 8:30am – 5pm Monday – Friday
Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, Healthcare Insurance, Life Assurance, Pension

Essential for this role is that you come with technical or engineering industry experience and have experience in producing content relatable to the engineering community.  You will be working with multiple departments from marketing, design and engineering.


  • Prepare written marketing materials including white papers, articles, help guides, brochures
  • Co-ordinating design and publishing of documents
  • Creation of thought-provoking blogs across various platforms
  • Managing and creating new marketing collateral in both digital and print
  • Creation of various presentations and product sheets
  • Responsible for photography of new products, video and animations
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
  • Ensuring that content is optimised for search and social promotion
  • Preparing copy for the website around technical product launches
  • On-page and off-page SEO and UX/CX website improvements
  • Supporting the marketing team on ad-hoc projects including digital marketing and social media
  • Liaison with PR and third-party marketing agencies

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong experience within content creation
  • You must have experience of running digital marketing campaigns
  • Basic knowledge of CMS systems, HTML and CSS (desirable)
  • Understanding of technical product specifications to translate this into simple and creative content
  • Basic knowledge of HubSpot and Google Analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in a marketing related subject, or equivalent
  • CIM Qualification (desirable)
